Buzz

The software Buzz is a next-generation, modular tracker.

It combines the typical tracker interface for triggering samples and entering controller data with the concept of "machines" (analogous to plugins). Machines can be effects or "generators" (samplers or synths). They can be routed in an almost entirely freeform fashion, which gives enormous freedom.

The development of Buzz halted because of a major harddrive crash, resulting in the creation of various clones aiming to replicate the workflow and features of the last official Buzz as a starting point, but also continue pushing development of the concept further.
