Here is a list of good free file hosts that don't require signing up. Some websites may contain advertisements. The majority of them allow the file to be hosted indefinitely as long as the file stays active (people continue to download), and most also offer unlimited downloads.

Music clips

Please do not use these to share illegal files or things to which you do not own the copyright. Also, read the FAQ and TOS of the particular host as these types of services are always changing.

The sites in bold are recommended. The sites are in no particular order apart from that.
