Logic is the audio and midi sequencing package currently owned by Apple Computer, Inc. It is currently on version 7.2.2, and is now only available for Apple Mac OSX.

Logic was first developed by a german company; C-Lab, then absorbed by emagic, and its codebase was originally multi platform, i.e. supporting both Windows And Mac OS?/X. In fact, Its origins date back to the AtariST !

The last version to be released for PC 5.5.1 (27-02-2003), is so special it deserves a section all of its own. Shortly before this version was released, Emagic was absorbed by Apple in a friendly buyout. Logic on Windows was cut loose.
