Sonar

Sonar is a Sequencer/DAW that is created by Cakewalk. It is similar in style to other professional sequencers such as Logic and Cubase. Sonar is currently in its 5th version with number 6 to come out by October.

Sonar's features are very similar to other sequencers, it has both Audio and MIDI tracks and supports a multitude of virtual instrument types, such as VST and DXi. It also comes with the sonitus:fx line of audio effects, which includes compressors and an EQ, along with other audio effects. The Producer Edition includes the Perfect Space reverb, the PSYN II synth, the Pentagon I synth, and Roland's V-Vocal effect.
